Yeah this doesn't make sense to me. I worked at a burger place that had a simple menu. Only burgers (no frills limited toppings), grilled cheese and grilled chicken sandwich. We'd make patty melts all of the time for ourselves but it took the owner a year to add them to the menu after seeing me and another cook eating them (he was the type that let us cook whatever for ourselves)
