I did make one thing I saw during a show, ham Chablisienne. It was a very interesting dish, like the pasta version of dipping your grilled cheese into tomato soup. My wife didn't like it, but she has a child's palate.

In hindsight this guy was such a fucking loser. I really envied his lifestyle back in the day. Go travel to the coolest places, eat the best food with the top chefs, get drunk and rant like an asshole and make millions of dollars for it.
But all that success just made him a miserable prick. It wasn’t an act. He actually was that much of a sardonic dickhead. Plus he was a cuck. Not surprised at all he chose to rope.
It really woke me up to the depths of the moral rot in our society. This guy had everything most urban millennials aspire to and it was hell. This is where most of us are headed. No real friends. No real family. No community. Just a bunch of rootless cosmopolitans jumping from one jungle or beach to megacity and drowning ourselves in booze while bitching about the world for no reason as if we don’t have it better than 99.99999% of humans on earth, living or dead.

As demonstrated itt, he sends /pol/tard mouthbreathers into screaming, teeth gnashing pissfits simply because he was capable of using a 3+ syllable vocabulary in mellifluous, coherent sentences describing his relationships with *gasp* indigenous foods, people and cultures, while pointing out instances of western exploitation and subjugation. Bourdain is worth admiring because he inflicts an infinite amount of butthurt on the braindead right - EVEN FROM THE GRAVE!!!!

One of my favorite "No Reservations" episodes was the one in China where he hooked up with a guy that ran a cowboy themed bar in Beijing. He killed himself because he was a self hating loser and no amount of fame or money could make up for that. He no doubt had some internal conflicts over his own identity as a non-practicing mischling Jew. I remember his episodes in Israel and Lebanon he always seemed ambivalent towards the Israelis and sympathetic to the Palestinian cause.
Part of the reason he spent so much time munching goat brain curry in third world shanty towns was to try to prove to himself and his audience that no culture was superior to another and that these sad desperate people in the slums of Shitholestan are just like you and me. Better even!
This is the fate of anyone who embraces slave morality while simultaneously achieving the extreme levels of fortune and fame that bourdain did. It causes to much emotional pain to try and cast yourself as the loser underdog while completely dominating the game. And when you see how easy it is to actually raise yourself from the muck like bourdain did it just gets harder and harder not to look at the poor blithering idiots around you with disdain.
You already hate the successful and have your own life, and now you’re growing to hate the downtrodden as well. It’s a bleak outlook on life and it’s unsustainable.

There is nothing to it, travel, eat food, have an opinion about a culture with a "blue collar" type of insight with your reviews on food. I am suprised noone has mentioned that he was advocating for white genocide, Paid to do what others would regard a dream job, he was either "suicided" or did legitimately take his own life either way he was morally bankrupt, weak and had a lot of demons clinging to him. Another ((wizard)) dead his spell were to convince western society to embrace multiculturalism.

My dad was a really big fan of his, even has a couple of books and never missed a show, when he died I saw the new first and then sent it to him
Heard the man cry from a couple of rooms away like he had lost a close friend

i dont understand why people seem to consider celebrities a personal friend or someone they know on a friendship level, it's very strange to me

for instance when david bowie died, who I've been a huge fan of his music for 20 years people were so upset but like it's going to happen, and you didn't know him personally. the music he made still exists so why people delude themselves into thinking they are on a friendship basis with complete strangers

This complete nonsense. The guy was a naturally depressive addict surrounded by shitty people. His attitudes towards the global poor likely had no more an impact on his fate than those of the thousands of drunken post-war intelligentsia who slummed it before him and did not kys themselves. You're writing fanfiction about a meme reality show host's death to validate your own beliefs, kind of pathetic really
