Breakfast food of choice?

I hate cooking in the morning and just like things I can eat at room temperature or throw in microwave quickly.
Breakfast pizzas are my shit, but I need to branch out.

Muffins are typically decent too, but they get dull after awhile.

Eggs, sausage, tomatoes, mushroom, all fryed up in butter. If you're a busy guy who isn't just a neckbear loser on 4chins, net shaq has some videos on egg and polenta that can be made a week in advance or oats if you prefer a lighter meal.

Should probably eat dinner, but its so easy to overeat during lunch and to buy snacks I hit my calorie quota early.

I've been eating costco tamales every morning for the last several months.
Then I found them on clearance at $5 for 15 so I just went ham and bought like several months worth.

I hope I don't get sick of them.

They're dead simple, quick, and you can make little modification like turning it into a melt

Update: the cheese is less melted than on regular bread. Overall it's still great but not perfection like a fried baloney melt on white bread
That bagel is not burnt (at least, no more burnt than when it came out of the toaster). It just absorbed most of the grease in the pan.

Get your cheese out to warm up to room temp, fry your baloney (cut the edges so it doesn't warp), fry the inside of the bagel, add the cheese to the baloney just before taking it out, and it'll look much better

>> No.15641000

>add the cheese to the baloney just before taking it out
Interesting. Would you recommend layering it between slices of baloney while in the pan to melt it or should I just put it on top of one slice and let it melt before stacking it all up?
>fry the inside of the bagel
I'd have to change when I apply the mustard but this sounds like a good idea

>> No.15641014

>>15641000
As long as you can get the cheese to melt without it making a mess of the pan, the heat from the bagel and the ham should be enough to melt it if it's not too cold.

You could also put a lid on the pan and add a little bit of water to create steam and melt the cheese.

I used to have a manager that was pretty cool like that too, after big pushes or projects he'd get pizzas or shakes and things like that, and usually provide small snacks here and there.

Its a small thing, but I loved the fat bastard. Hope he's doing well for himself now.
