yeah people are fags about accents. I remember when I moved here (Texas), from the NE US, I thought everyone sounded retarded. They all had these twangy accents and it was just such a shock to me to hear everyone speaking in this way that was nothing like Philly or New Jersey or even Virginia.

But the curriculum at school was really a jump up in challenge, and there were people in my class who were just dancing around mathematics, and I was struggling with long division all while thinking everyone sounded so stupid, and I learned that people aren't necessarily stupid because of a dialect.

So yeah I learned that shit when I was 8.
