I like them more on smash burgers, sometimes on the thicker burgs the yolk and the meat juice make the buns gross

I, too have been converted to the OG of smashed burgers.
Big thick ones are just unwieldy

Yes as long as it isn't a huge ass burger like that, otherwise it's basically guaranteed that the burger will turn into a sloppy dripping mess when the yolk breaks.

Its good when I'm in a fatty mood. Same with bacon. I enjoy different combos on burgers but usually only experiment when i go out to eat. At home its pretty much just regular burgers

Yes as long as it isn’t on a stupid Instagram meme burger like the one in the OP

>> No.15806860

A fried egg is one of the mandatory ingredients for a sandwich to be considered a burger. Anything less than beef (alternatively bison), cheese, bacon, and egg is nothing more than a burger-shaped salad.

God yes. I can’t do it all the time but whenever it’s an option and it’s made right, perfection.

Had a burger with rye bread, truffel mayo and runny fried egg in Netherlands, it was delicious. I'd say it depends on the overall style of burger and what other ingredients are used whether the egg compliments it or not.

>> No.15807020

If I am getting egg on there, which I like, it will usually be breakfast style, with bacon and maybe hash browns

A show called man versus food is great .Got me back into sandwiches again although I like savoury food I'm not a bunny boiler.Preferebly grilled burgers with an egg tomato and a slice of other meat such as duck is a really nice treat once a week but you will put on weight

Why is there sauce on the bun?
Like I don't care if I eat like a pig at home when I can just walk 10 steps to the sink and wash them clean but that looks like a restaurant burger.
