Same, I basically eat whatever I want and stay thin. Like you though I eat 2 meals a day, also I don't drink soda or sugary juices (but I will have a hot chocolate every so often).

I was getting pudgy when I ate out a lot, though, but as soon as covid hit and I started cooking for myself more I got thin without trying. I think portions are just too big and it's too natural to just eat what's in front of you (also parents usually teach that)

Not all fats are absorbed the same way. That said though, you do still have to watch your macros on keto. It's not just a bacon fueled rampage like reddit likes to think it is. I did it for a year eating green vegetables and unprocessed meats like fish, chicken, and a bit of red meat. I managed to lose ~60lbs just ballparking my carb intake.

Yeah I just eat whatever. I avoid shitty premade processed food. If I want cookies I make them myself, same with bread and cake. I also prioritize sourcing my own ingredients. I get my own eggs for my cookies for example, and I'm growing strawberries which I will use for cakes and other baked goods.
I still need to go to the supermarket, but I try to just buy single ingredient items like flour, sugar, butter, etc.
