It arrived late in a very poor region and we only had the notion of "ketchup on dough with melty cheese on top" and then whatever the fuck else you wanted. They're trashy as fuck and made with cubed ham, canned mushrooms, cheap olives, peppers, the works.
Because of gay globalization we've learned to make real pizza and now you get to buy "authentic" italian pizza for insane prices, and obviously they don't even get it right. Fucking globohomo just give me my slop pizza back

The globohomo part was just for flavor, but it is true that foods can be trendy and the trends we follow are now global trends, rather than local. There are even places which claim to sell "New York style pizza", and it's dumb as shit. Might as well sell Montreal style pizza, or better yet, Eastern European the way it naturally arrived here.
Fucking every country has street foods, but because of dumb trends, it's now mostly burgers, pizza slices, hotdogs etc.
Anyway, this thread is for discussing loaded pizzas

I grew up in EE and never tasted a canned olive until I moved to NA.
This is just cope for being poor.
On a side note some of the best pizza Ive had was indeed in Sofia .

Not at all. I haven't had olive oil until 2005 when we first vacationed in Greece, THE destination spot for poor East Europeans.
What I'm saying is I wish people didn't follow retarded cooking trends, when most of the time they can't even get it right, and just enjoy what we have.

funny how perfectly that applies to your beloved eastern european style pizza as well. Guaranteed there's a guy 30 years your elder going
>what's wrong with these kids with their cheesy slop bread. Back in my day we had ground meat and onion in a pastry crust like fucking men. Why can't people just stick to what they know instead of following dumb lah di da trends from Italy

So worse versions of things you find on pizza elsewhere. And you blame globohomo for things improving but don't like the improvements because you think they're because of globohomo.

Top goy.

that's true and you're right, I'm just taking my rightful spot in history as another bitter man.
but what should be noted is that there is a difference between a food naturally making its way in a country, and it appearing because it's a dumb trend.
so in my first example, a guy leaves the country for the first time in generations, sees this pizza thing in italy and brings it back, but without knowing how to make real pizza dough, or what mozzarella, prosciutto, and good tomato sauce are, effectively creating a new food, or at least an original and very different take on an old food.
in the second case, some restaurant owner wants to create a menu of really instagrammable food, and jumps on the BACON (or in our case "Neapolitan" pizza) bandwagon. as a sidenote, you still won't be able to make good Italian pizza if you're not in Italy and the prices are insane.

way to miss the point dude
also the globohomo part was a joke
