Its hard to say without seeing what you have available but I don't really like any of the three you posted. Woodford is just not my taste at all and I don't like it or recommend it. Heaven's Door isn't a bourbon but its okay. Wild Turkey is aright. But for a tasting they will all be very different and you should probably buy and try all three.

I'm about to run out of my current bourbon (Jefferson's Very Old Reserve) and I need a new one soon.

I was going to get Maker's Private Selection for $70 but chickened out. Anyone have experience with this? I've never had any Maker's Mark or wheated bourbon so I don't know what to expect, and for $70 I don't want to get burned. My store's bottling is labeled as having 2 Maker's 46 staves, 6 French mocha staves, 1 seared french cuvee, 1 toasted french spice, for anyone who's familiar with the Private Selection flavor profiles.

Otherwise, I might get Woodford Double Oaked, which is significantly cheaper

If you've never had wheated, definitely try the Maker's Private. It's very good if you like wheated bourbon. Woodford double oaked is a fine bourbon. If I were you, I'd buy a bottle of regular Maker's to try some wheated, and a bottle of the Woodford double. The two together are gonna be roughly the same price as the Maker's private.

Select is the budget option. No age statement and priced cheaper than their "standard". Lots of companies have one. Glenlivent Founder's Reserve, Oban Little Bay, Ardbeg Wee Beastie, Talisker Storm, Laphroaig Select as you mention, hell even Lagavulin has an 8 year cheaper option than their flagship 16, though that does state the age. All just off the top of my head.
