what do you make?

you have access to the kings pantry containing medieval ingredients, spices, and meat, and have modern Gastronomy knowledge (only your current knowledge).

you have one loyal chefs aid, and for meat you must hunt medieval animals yourselfs.

slip out the back and run until the people i'm passing by aren't speaking the same language as the king anymore. cooking with period equipment is tempermental even at the best of times and not something you should be learning last minute with no preparation whatsoever.
the extravagant expectations of a royal feast are also well beyond the ability of a humble home cook, in everything from the quantity of food to be prepared to the gourmet quality of it to even the visual spectacle.
not to mention the medieval palate was wildly different from modern tastes, and depending on exact era would even be considered absolutely revolting today.
