It tastes like a rotisserie chicken for some weird reason. My theory is all the organs and bones and stuff being cooked with all the meat and egg. What little white remains has the texture of weird bubble-gum but is scooched to one side.

It's quite fantastic so long as you season it with salt, vinegar, or fish sauce.

Yeah, I had it once 20 years ago but my biggest takeaway is that it tasted like chicken soup. Was weird AF. Texture of eating the embryo was weird but it wasn’t crunchy just chewed and swallowed.

Wouldn’t do again, just not my thing but I can see the appeal for low income countries loving it.

I tried it and it was like the texture of a oyster if a oyster had extra soft fish bones in it.
Sort if tasted like seafood mixed with chicken.
Its ok but I would only do it again if I was trying to get a mate to try it.
It also has a white part thats like chewing on car rubber and doesn't taste of much and I ate like half of the white before they told me you don't eat that part.
It was pretty funny I just gave it a bit more of a chew then spat it out.
