Particularly leafy greens and not tubers/bulbs/things that are technically fruit.

they apparently have some micros in them that are good for you or some shit
but thats probably just vegan propaganda to stop you eating the real vitamin pill, eggs

Vegetables, particularly dark green leafy vegetables, are packed full of compounds which cause massive inflammation. Humans have evolved to cope with this because 99% of the time throughout history the best you could do to survive is stuff leaves down your throat, but optimally a human being should exist on red meat, eggs, and grains (not rice). Vegetables should only be consumed in a survival situation. Fruit should be treated like candy, ideally you avoid it altogether but if you must you should limit your intake as much as possible.

I agree that animal products are important. I actually believe leafy greens are healthier than grains though. Maybe ancient grains like einkorn and REAL wild rice (not at all the same as its cultivated namesake, you also cannot buy real wild rice at the supermarket) might be arguably healthier than cultivated vegetation, but I believe vegetables have a place in the human diet. I try to grow as much as I can, and leafy greens are always the first plant food I can eat during the growing season.

Is inflammation always bad though? If you have a disorder that's triggered by inflammation sure but inflammation is also part of a good immune response.

just eat a healthy balanced diet and don't eat too many grains because they're not that necessary

I'd argue grains are more nutritious than leafy green vegetables as long as you control your carb intake to reasonable levels. In terms of protein and vitamin levels.

Vegetables are a good fiber source. But animal organs, eggs, and fish are a superior source of nutrients

yes, its always bad. your immune system responding to something negative with inflammation doesnt mean inflammation itself is good. thats like saying a strong base is good because it neutralises a strong acid

Why should I eat like a nigger from half a million years ago instead of eating like my more closely related pastoralist ancestors? Paleofags are funny.

You really think hunter gatherers wouldnt come across bird nests on the regular? I come across bird nests and eggs all the time. Was it available year round? Maybe not, but it was available. And imagine coming across an ostrich nest. And if you get autistic about "readily" available .... NO FOOD WAS READILY AVAILIBLE FOR MOST OF HUMAN HISTORY. You had to work for it. You goof

People used to eat dandelions and weeds in salads all the time. You’d pull it out of the ground, remove the roots, soak it and make sure there is no remaining dirt. Now everything is heavily fertilized so you have to be careful but this isn’t some foreign concept, you can probably still find grandmas and great-grandmas who remember doing it (especially in the south)

Dandelion greens are edible BEFORE the dandelions start to grow.
Most plant foods are toxic and our ancestors used specific preparation techniques to extract what little nutrients they could from various plants when needed.
When corn was introduced to Europe there was an epidemic of pellagra. Europeans didn’t know how to properly prepare the corn flour the way American Indians did(a process called nixtimalization) so they were getting sick and dying from a heavy corn diet.
Plant cultists are free to eat what they want, but don’t pretend like you could just walk out into the woods and eat everything you see without at least shutting your pants for the next 12 hours. You’ll be lucky to not kill your liver in the process.
