I don't know why people are so obsessed with me making "home cooked meals" instead of fast food. It's not like a burger with onion rings on top is magically going to be healthier just because i made it myself instead of burger king doing it for me.

Is it really that shocking that people who live on fast food live nasty lives? I used to have a great kitchen and made the mistake of letting someone of low quality move in with me and now I don't have people over anymore because he fucked it up so badly. Ideally you won't need to use as much salt and nothing will have any salt preservatives, so that cuts down on the sodium pretty well. That's probably one of the big factors to most home cooking, at least when it comes to common fast food items.
