There are two types of rural, sad and comfy. Sad rural is rustbelt decay and meth, comfy is where you live just outside of a large metro so plenty of people can commute and there is still local infrastructure and businesses that cater to regional tourists and locals.

I think my favorite memory of comfy rural is building a car-sized bonfire in the town park and my grandpa lighting it with a backpack mounted army surplus flamethrower, then having a potluck next to the original jail and stealthily drinking booze out of a trunk

But, I don't understand how you could think that you can't judge people based on fashion. If someone is dressed like an absolute retard, odds are they've convinced themselves they look cool. No one intentionally dresses like a retard, there are always underlying justifications.

However, no matter what, if they're dressed like a retard. They probably think like a retard

This is an odd topic.

Us core millennials seem to fall either into the complete teetotaler status or utter fucking drunkard - with almost no middleground.

That said, it almost always seems like the boomers make much more of a fool of themselves under the influence, whereas people my age know their limits a bit more because there are more repercussions for being drunk in public than there were in the 1970s and 1980s.

Zoomers probably don't know how to drink other than getting hammered super fast. I've had very few interactions because of work where this was the instance. Just as I have slid into a nice 5/10 drunk, everyone else is now blackout and puking and the night is over.
