Yeah if it was cooked at home. McDonald's doesn't even trust their own processes to offer meat cooked other than well done.. why would you?

>> No.16225533

Amazing that they have to serve you raw meat before you realize that fast food is garbage and decide not to eat it. Congrats OP.p

this still wouldn't be fine cooked at home
I've never understood the rare burger meme, once the meat goes through a grinder all of it is considered compromised because you don't know how clean the machine was before it was used

>> No.16225593

>>16225578
That's not the reason. It's because the bacteria lives on the outside of the meat, and once you grind it that all becomes mixed in, so instead of just having to sear the outside, you have to cook it all the way through.

>> No.16225596

>>16225578
Yes, you have to grind it yourself anon. It's the best burger everytime

>> No.16225611

>>16225593
As long as certain hygiene standards are followed the whole process from raising the animal to grinding the meat, it's perfectly fine to eat raw ground meat.

Most first world countries seems to follow such hygiene standards. USA seems to be an exception.

You can eat premium beef handled very carefully and from specific sources raw. Even then, risk of bad bacteria being present is very high.

It's not that McDonald's doesn't trust their processes; they just sell so many damn burgers a year that even if the rate of infection was low enough as one in a million burger patties they'd still get 2000 people a year getting sick. what is it that makes McDonalds so uniquely disgusting? Other fast food joints, even the most rat infested, just taste like really cheap food prepared by retards. But McDonalds doesn't even taste like food, it has this horrible smell and taste like eating soggy cardboard with just a small amount of some cleaning chemical that just does not sit right.
