Yes, I kinda fucked up the crust. I guess you really do need to bake it most of the time with foil covering the edges of the crust.

You can't see but there's a cream cheese filling below the raspberry layer. I bought 5 pints of raspberries at the farmers market to make this.

Recipe I used:

http://www.mennonitegirlscancook.ca/2016/06/raspberry-cream-cheese-pie.html

I added some lemon juice to cream cheese filling layer and didn't bother with topping.

It was hard to find recipes that used fresh raspberries, not raspberry jam or pre-packaged raspberry jello mix. I wanted something that used lots of fresh raspberries with a cream cheese contrast. I made my own pie crust and the recipe was fairly simple.

I agree that Christianity is a harmful form of bigotry that keeps gay people like me oppressed in perpetuity.

I sure would, OP.
It looks a bit runny but I'm not about to complain about lovely slice of fruit pie.
I'm not Charles Freck after all.

It isn't runny. I still have to let it set up in the fridge for two hours. The raspberry compote isn't fully cooled (at the point the photo was taken).

It is cornstarch-based. I actually added a bit more cornstarch than the recipe called for because I want a firm gel.

The best part of making it was added a whole cup of heavy cream and thinking hmm this is gonna be a super runny mess of a cream cheese filling and then with just a couple of seconds in the stand mixer it firmed up and whipped up.

Still needs to cool for another hour. Want the filling to fully set so it isn't runny, as anon said.

There's heavy cream in the cream cheese filling, no milk.

There's a little buttermilk in the crust.

I've been making a lot of pies. I am looking to maybe make something that isn't a pie but uses up a lot of fruit with my blueberries and sour cherries.

Looks fuckin good, I'd eat it and yes the edges of the crust need to be covered in foil for 3/4 of the time, I'm still working on that part. Also next time make some extra dough and try to put a lattice on top, it's really not hard and it makes it look super impressive and adds some extra nice flakey crust on top.
