Waiting for my rice to finish steaming, but it is this weird stewed meat paste I made by accident. I was making a giant batch of gyudon beef and turned it down to low before passing out drunk for like two hours or so. When I came too it had been on the stove for way longer than it needed to be, and the beef had broken down. It became this incredibly salty, sweet, and fatty onion and beef flavored paste that is just pure concentrated flavor. I use it like tsukidani and serve very small amounts of it over rice. For the rice I steamed it with ginger and carrot in dashi. I am drinking two cups of milk with my meal.
