Soylent always has that weird vaguely chalky texture but the banana isn't too weird. The worst is the chocolate, it's like someone didn't mix hot cocoa right.
I wouldn't bother unless you have issues eating enough/correctly, the only reason I drink that sludge is because I'm anorexic and need to stop myself from being totally malnourished

Taste-wise it's literally the same as any protein meal replacement.
Ingredient and nutrient-wise? It's a bowl of soy cereal in a bottle. I tried the chocolate, and it tasted just like the Monster chocolate protein.

Tried it. Was house-sitting for my neighbors and they told me to eat anything I wanted in the fridge.

I've tried both the chocolate and vanilla. In terms of taste, it's the worst meal replacement drink I've had even compared to others of the same flavor. It's bland but more in an unpleasant than neutral way. I've never been able to finish a bottle.

Just take a multi-vitamin. I know the point of meal replacements is the calories, but I've never once in my life met a person who drank Soylent who wasn't overweight, so chances are they could afford to skip a meal or two.
