Can someone please explain the point of vegetarians to me?
They don't eat meat because "muh animals" but then turn around and rape cows for milk, abuse chickens for eggs, on and on.
They're almost always skinnyfat authoritarian narcissists too, demanding that everyone around them changes just for them.
Normal people eat whatever because they're not braindamaged from a lack of proteins. Animals aren't people and we're omnivores - they're literally going against nature.
I really don't understand it. Why would someone willingly deprive themselves of 99% of the meals on Earth while ALSO fucking up their bodies and relying on vitamins to not die horribly?
Is it something in the water? One big psyop? Propaganda in schools? There has to be an answer...

what you're describing is ovo-lacto-pecetarianism, not vegetarianism.

People are vegetarian for health or financial reasons I believe (assuming they're still consuming diary and don't go full vegan)

But if you genuinely think that avoiding meat and not diary is somehow more moral than eating them both then you're retarded

I'm a vegetarian because meat weirds me out, simple as.
Not hard to keep your macros up if you have any idea what you're doing in the kitchen anyway.
Now, vegans? Those dudes are nuts, fuck that noise.

answer: you're 12 and your entire knowledge of food fads came from your domineering older sister who bullies you, causing you to get aroused, as you rightly should be but that is a different topic

They do it not to actually do any propper good but rather feel good.
Like going for electric cars that use much more energy to produce and electrical generation that isn't energy neutral. The future is clean burning fossil fuels until a proper alternative is figured out.

Cheese is usually separated from the whey with the use of animal products, milk and eggs are produced by keeping the animals in captivity their entire life until they eventually get slaughtered for food too

Same, I'm not vegetarian for moral or ethical reasons, I just never found meat very interesting or tasty. I do drink milk, eat eggs and eat cheese, but it doesn't bother me too much. My vegetables are also probably produced by part slave labour as it is.

I'm not vegan nor vegetarian. But I fully support businesses like beyond meat, impossible foods, JUST, etc, and actively campaign and push for their widespread adoption by working with nonprofits that advocate for stronger government regulation world wide on animal-based products.
The only reason I do this is because I love to watch these hardcore, "I EAT STEAK EVERY DAY" omnivore "men" lose their minds over animal-free products.
It's a hobby of mine.

vegan diet is perfect for these guys, they can be fed cheaply and without entering into food competition with the normal population
