Looks like you just tossed a whole fish in it

It’s refried pork with cabbage, rice, red onion, chilli garlic sauce and soy sauce, it’s really good

>> No.16765210

anon, try frying the cabbage alone, put some color on it first and let most of the oil drip out first, and then sprinkle it on top of sloppa, or if you have terrible impulse control you can snack on those

You got a recipe my friend? That looks amazing

I like my cabbage moist
>>16765293
just a basic stew, braise your beef cut with salt, take meat out and add your red onions-sweat until you get some nice colour and absorb all the beef fat, add some tomato paste and slightly cook it but dont burn it, add flour to onions and paste if you want thickness, add back your meat and all your extra veggies, add a splashing of red wine and herbs of your choice, pop in oven at 300 for 3 hours, broil at low for 20-30 minutes for colour and to condense the sauce

Now that I think of it, is there even an invalid form of cabbage? Good eaten raw, boiled, steamed, all good, fried, also good.
bros is cabbage the ultimate vegetable?

This looks very good, you should add some cabbage into it while cooking. If you're not a fan on the texture, add it earlier on so it cooks down.

>> No.16766154

I just made some yesterday with lamb, carrot, parsnip, celery, and cabbage. Get those greens in early so you can get all the taste, texture, and benefit

Cabbage is for sure a vastly underrated vegetable

Sloppa is literally just the first thing that comes to mind when you think of the word 'sloppa'. The messier the better.
