Do you ever use a kitchen scale or instead just go by feel?

I use a kitchen scale probably 10 times a day because I count calories and always weigh my food to know how much I'm eating. Outside of that I've started using a scale to weigh my dry ingredients when I'm baking because I noticed that a "cup" of flour can very wildly. Plenty of times I've put in a cup of flour but the flour is packed in the measuring scoop so I get way more than I plan.

Measuring is useful. Spices I tend to do more by taste though.

You should only be using a kitchen scale if you're trying to lose weight, trying to gain weight, or measuring protein/calorie amounts for muscle growth.

Winging it is for cooking. Scales are needed for baking.

I use a kitchen scale when it lets me just pour stuff straight into the bowl instead of dirtying a scoop. It's not just for accuracy it can also help you be lazy. I also use it for measuring stuff like dry pasta, I used to eyeball it but I would always put too much.
