I honestly really love eggs and rice. When I was in university it was so cheap to make 1 cup of rice, 6 eggs, and veggies and fry them up in olive oil. I don’t even need to eat like this anymore but I just love it. It’s also like 1100 calories

Eggs + a little butter + hot sauce is always amazing, and you can even cook it many different ways

I unironically like smoked sardines and the hot sauce sardines

Rice + butter is always good

Oatmeal + Yogurt is good

When I was a kid my dad would take Spam and grate it into shreds then pan fry it, the fry canned kidney beans in the left over grease and then mixed it all together into white rice. Me and my brothers could not get enough of it but he eventually stopped making it because Spam got way more expensive and needed a minimum of 2 cans to feed 4 kids plus himself as my mother would refuse to eat it

True. They ate super versatile and packed with protein. Even homemade falafel are pretty inexpensive. Just need some cumin, coriander and parsley. Fry that up. The spices are the most expensive part but you buy em once and they last for dozens of meals.

Shitty 10 cent ramen with chili flakes, garlic powder, and ginger powder, and any other random spices I had on hand. It was my go to meal when I was a poor as fuck high school drop out.

Tuna sandwiches were another standard, but I had to live on just those for a week once and have been disgusted by them since.

I believe it is canadian slang for "penis", which is also a unit of currency there. In other words, you have to suck 0.40 cocks in canadia to get your daily deens.

As a kid, I had this cookbook. One of the recipes was literally bread, a slice of cheese and tomato sauce/ketchup, and you'd just mic it for 20-30 seconds.
