Gonna let it cool now, see if I can remove external protective layer. It's not though to my surprise so I might as well chop it up along with the rest of it. Afterwards I'll sautée it with some olive oil and spices. Suggestions are welcome.

You can get CJD from cow brains anon. Scrapie you can’t. Sheep brains are generally thought to be safe to eat, but not cows because BSE can manifest naturally in normal cows.

Bought some pork brains for brain tacos. Kino but one safety tip: It was cool to see part of the brain disrupted where the bolt pistol nailed it. (HEADSHOT!) What -wasn't- cool was that this also shoved bone fragments into the meat. Make sure to to prepare and chew carefully to avoid saving throws Vs. toof damage.
