Every now and then pyrex fails like that, but why wouldn't you have Plan B already on hand? Protip, you have a 2nd main because you were taking advantage of the sales. I didn't do ham this year, but they were literally only $10 for whole hams. I got one in the fridge for cooking or freezing later. I got a frozen turkey breast in the freezer from last month's Aldi sale that was ridiculously cheap, and will get thawed for my need mood to make sandwiches.
Always have some frozen veggies good to go, and something that lasts long term like a big bag of potatoes or a winter squash.

I did this before. Buddy gave me some sauerkraut he'd made but the metal lid on the glass jar had kinda rusted shut. So I grabbed some pliers to get in there but it still wouldn't budge. Put it in my vise (I was very drunk) with a towel around the jar so it'd be kinda soft, and tried to turn it and it just shattered after enough effort. Tossed it in its bowl, pulled out the big chunks, and brought it up to serve the family with just a fair warning that it was glassy. We finished it though shit was good.

Okay, look, most of the deep cosmology is observational and theoretical, because we're not yet in a position to do any experimental verification. However, people both underestimate and overestimate the detail in models of the early universe.

The first important thing is that the Big Bang has been a dead theory for nearly 40 years. It fails to explain the absence of certain features (monopoles) and presence of others (thermal equilibrium between causally isolated regions of space). It is almost entirely non-viable at this point without requiring miraculous intervention; not even the strong anthropic principle can deal with it.
The second important thing to know is that the currently-accepted theory, cosmic inflation, is time-incomplete in the past, meaning that, if the theory is correct, nobody can say anything about how this universe began and that this unknowability is baked in to the universe.

So, if you want a God to be responsible, that's totally fine; cosmic inflation allows God to have been responsible for this universe dropping out of the inflaton field and having cool things like time and matter, and those being configured in such a way as to eventually lead to the existence of William Craig, but the theory requires that "shit just happened, yo" is an equally valid conclusion as to the origin of the universe.
