I made /fit/-approved sloppy joes. Rate my meal, /ck/
>drizzle of extra virgin olive oil to cook meat
>2 oz of 96/4 ground meat per
>1/8 diced yellow onion per
>1/2 chopped garlic clove per
>lightly toasted whole wheat bun
>tomato paste
>passata
>dashes of tabasco sauce
>generous amounts of sriracha
>paprika
>salt
>pepper
About 30g of carbs, 18g of proteins, 3g of fat per. Delicious too

looks like shit, sounds like it tastes like shit, and you burned the bun.

Looks good anon, your pic made me hungry

It's a whole wheat bun, anon. It can take a lot of punishment before burning. They had just a very light bite to them, mostly being soft without becoming soggy under the weight of the meat and sauce. PM me your address anon, I'll send you one

EDIT: wow thanks for the gold!

Thanks anon. Pretty easy to make too.

that bread is very overbaked

It's toasted, anon, not baked. It was still very soft, having a very light bite to it.

I like my sloppy joes a little sweeter and it looks like your recipe is missing any sweetness. If you want a healthy way to add it, replace your passata with a good squirt of sugar-free ketchup and a few shakes of worcestershire sauce for some additional sweet smokiness at almost no calories. Some bell pepper can be diced small as well to add a bit more veg.

Also, your macros look borked. I'd do something like 4oz of meat per sandwich to up the protein to carb ratio.

I like mine pretty spicy, that's why I dumped the carrots/celery/bell peppers. I was actually eating too much protein and not enough carbs, so I switched the ratios around. Now, I eat 20-30g of protein every 2-3 hours. But you can definitely load these up with 4 oz of meat and they'll still be good.

>wheat fucking buns
>barely any meat

Yeah, /fit/ approved indeed. Go back to your fag board gayboy.

They still taste great, anon. I'd use 80/20 and loads of runny olive oil+passata if I could but I'm trying to limit the calorie intake. They weren't exactly dry, I just used extra tomato paste to make them a little less sloppy and a little more sticky so they don't fall all over the place. You want me to fly over to your house and make you some, anon?

I have no doubt food tastes better when starving yourself. And no, I already ate today.

I'm on a bulk, anon. Just because I'm avoiding extra calories doesn't mean I don't eat a shitload. I eat similarly sized meals 6 times a day.

That 6 meals a day stuff is really overkill dude. Unless you're literally at peak fitness and are having to cram 5k+ calories in a day, larger more spaced out meals will have no impact on your gains.

I beg to differ, anon. I used to eat 3 big meals a day, then I went to see a nutritionist and took some classes in college. Everyone says it's metabolically more beneficial to eat smaller meals multiple times a day instead of massive meals fewer times. I did notice a lot of improvements in my general energy through the day, and how many shits I take. I used to take 3 shits a day on similar caloric intake when eating big meals, now I shit maybe once every other day. I'm still getting adequate protein intake, just much more split up throughout the day. Not for nothing but I'm currently at 9.2% body fat measured by a BodPod, so I'd think I'm doing something right.
