You're right but remember they're competing against blacks who are on the same steroid regiments as they are. There is quite a bit of evidence that shows whites are stronger at raw strength activities whereas blacks, who are better at bodybuilding from an aesthetic perspective, are more suited to running and other athletic pursuits. And that's not even taking into account the difference between west and east Africans.
