Things aren't going too bad. Starting to implement some changes, still getting feedback. The owners decided to hire a local restaurant consulting firm, and all they're doing is trying to sell us their stupid sourdough recipe. I have the feeling that they're trying to take my employers for a ride, so to speak. We have a meeting with them (the consultants) on Tuesday, and I'll do what I need to prevent them from getting their fingers in my kitchen.
The weather's actually been nice, it's about 4°C out at the moment.
Doing Sunday brunch service at the moment, again trying a few recipes and menu items out, wanting as much feedback as possible.
Hoping to have the new menu set up and ready to go for the middle of February, as we have a week long festival around that same time, so that's what I'm aiming for.
