I have had this happen to me too. They absolutely LOSE THEIR SHIT. I'm just "huh?" They get so mad at me. One time a family member even freaked out on me and threatened to call the fire department. I asked them "what do you mean, there's no fire anywhere?" and they just forced me to turn the oven off. I don't visit them often anyway.
