Made my favorite Indian dish, sambar. Stew with mashed lentils, vegetables, sambar masala, sour tamarind, tomato, and coconut milk. I used parsnip, carrot, zucchini, peas, and shallot for veggies. The gravy is creamy from the coconut milk, hearty from the lentils, and uniquely delicious from the masala.

I have a physical job and dont usually have much energy to cook when i get home. So i make a good big meal and can just reheat it for the next few days. Better than heating up frozen shit or going out to eat every day.

Eating is a chore, I just do it because I have to, so I only cook big amounts of tasty sloppa or soup that lasts for about a week, so I don't have to cook in the evening.
Sometimes I just buy raw herring, salmon or minced meat and eat it as is with a bit of salt and pepper.

You sound like the perfect customer for buying powdered meals with everything you need, in bulk. Lasts long, tastes perfectly fine, can be eaten for breakfast, lunch and dinner super quickly and satiates sufficiently. Dollar per meal can get quite low if you buy in bulk, as mentioned.

Stir fried dried, pressed tofu, chicken, bell peppers, carrots, onions. Gonna eat it without rice so it's blander than it probably should be.
Going to eat it with three jars of kimchi and two bags of pickled greens I need to try a bit of each to figure out which is good. Also got some homemade vegan chili I'm going to eat as a side. I like meat but a cousin made some and told me how easy it was so I tried making it out of laziness.
>throw beans in rice cooker with minimal salt
>cook it three to four times until desired softness
>1 part tomato sauce to 2 part beans
>spoonful of chili garlic sauce
>red pepper flakes roughly the amount of a pack of pepper from ordering pizza
And somehow it tastes very similar to chili. Can't compete with amazing chili with meat in it but I like how little effort it takes to make something 75% as good. Literally just beans and a jar of pasta sauce. I'm fine eating vegan bean soup if it tastes this good.
On that subject I think vegans are fucking retarded for jumping through so many hoops when there a simplicity in simply making food without meat in it. If you hate meat so much then it should just be an opportunity to cut several steps out of the cooking process, instead of a challenge to make something without meat.
