If you had to choose between eating the “authentic” cuisine of a single country every day for the rest of your life, or being an American and eating a decent to very good version of every cuisine whenever you felt like it, which would you choose? And if it’s the former, which cuisine would you choose?

I’d choose to be an American and get sushi one night, Mexican food the next night, Thai food the night after that, and so on. I love all of those foods, but the thought of having to eat any single one them for virtually every meal is kind of depressing.

Taco bell anon was alright and always came across as a fairly decent person, if not a bit annoying due to constantly needing attention and avatar-posting. His diet fucking disgusted me however. He could do with just two of the items in that picture like a normal person, instead he has 10+ and eats enough to feed five people. Couple that with the amount of boozing he seemingly does, I bet his body looks and feels like utter shit. As long as he's happy, but I wish he would take better care of himself as that shit will catch up real fast, if it hasn't already.

Post doesn't make sense. You wouldn't be eating the actual food but whatever is available at taco bell or panda express, which isn't the worst thing, but since eating at a restaurant is not American food, and other countries have the same options, choosing any country means getting variety. American food means you are eating turkey, corn, fried chicken, apple pie, and whatever else is local. You don't get to be like "americanized versions of everything" lmao

Do you seriously believe that's all Americans eat? It's not even like everything is "Americanized" versions either. You can get Americanized Mexican and Chinese food, but you can also get the real stuff just as easy at places that don't cater to white people.

You can't. You can't even get your hands on proper wasabi, let alone frozen or fresh wasabi. Even though it's a fad product, has been for 3 decades straight and grows perfectly well in moderate climates anywhere, including most of Europe and the US/Canada. What you get is horseradish (grows in the wild, just pick it) served at premium wasabi prices. Which is complete nonsense.

Everybody knows that the wasabi in most sushi restaurants in America (and literally everywhere else in the world outside of Japan) isn't the real thing, but nobody is paying "premium" prices for it. Thanks for explaining that though; I bet it makes you feel really smart to go over something that's been said a thousand times. Now somehow explain how having to go to a higher end sushi restaurant in order to get real wasabi somehow means everything is just Taco Bell and Panda Express.
