My mate bought some crocodile for the hell of it, I cooked it in a pan, and then we ate pieces of it with our hands, dipping it in a bit of franks hot sauce. I had goat brain. It was exactly as you described. Just basically this fatty substance that resembles scrambled eggs. Not great, but the masala helped it feel like you're having decadent spicy scrambled eggs.

I tried Pokkaan (some large sized cat which preys on chickens). Poor man's vediyirachi (dried indian beef jerky eaten with booze). Still used as touchings by rural alcoholics. i grew up in new orleans and had gator more times than i can count, it can be good and so so fucking bad, usually it's shit. i never actually learned how to cook or butcher it properly so i'm not sure what combination of cut or preparation makes for good gator.
i lived in the part of the city that got destroyed and overgrown after katrina, so we used to hunt and fish a lot and eat a lot of small game like raccoons, possums, rabbits, feral chickens, nutria, frogs and snakes.
