I'm convinced black people actually have no sense of taste and they exclusively "taste" with their eyes. If they can't SEE seasoning powder coating the food then they think it's unseasoned and call it bland even if it's marinated and sauced and cooked alongside all manner of flavorful ingredients. Because they're not actually tasting the food, they're just observing whether it LOOKS correct.

Because they're just willing to take everything at face value. The bottle says it's seasoning. That means that's what seasoning is and all it'll ever be until their perception is challenged beyond their own capacity.
