I tried takoyaki finally, what a phenomenal invention. The octopus inside was almost like conch or clam and the kewpie mayo was weirdly addicting. First place that ever offered it near me finally had I, couldn't pass it up

Given how chewy octopus was as sushi, I was greatly surprised at how good takoyaki was. It is a fried dough ball, so that does help it greatly though. Shame it isn't really common here state side, you have to find the rare place that offers it.
