Food tastes better high, so better foods taste better high. Therefore, whatever really good foods you already like are good choices to eat while high. This makes Subway a shit-tier weed food, as Subway is bland, flavorless mush that lacks any nuance that could be enhanced by being consumed in a state of heightened sensory reception. I was going to say something like, "it's the difference between listening to a wet fart recorded on a Radio Shack tape deck compared to a wet fart in 5.1 dolby surround sound - at the end of the day it's still a wet fart", but that's unironically giving too much credit to Subway.

I agree with the sentiment but not the comments.

Subway and many other fastfood joints tend to overcompensate their flavors, making it orgasmic for the tastebuds when high. When I'm hungry and sober I want my grandmas homemade sauce. When I'm stoned I want that artificial mariana sauce on a meatball from Subway. It's the same thing with White Castle, Popeyes, etc. My wife makes great chicken, but when I'm high off my ass nothing tastes better than those spicy chicken sandwich.

i spent over $22 CAD for a footlong subway sandwich meal combo at Pearson Intl. because I had a five-hour layover & I was tired/starving, there were only 40g of chips in the lil bag it came with, and the two young women working the kiosk were both really rude to me.

the time before that, they "ran out of bread" and I got some really stupid flatbread-wrap thing instead, they wouldn't knock-down the price either.

I don't mind the taste of many of their menu-items--even tho it's slop--but I always feel like I got ripped-off after going there regardless. subway is fukin terrible & i dunno why i keep getting food there

Any I agree with the sentiment of your post, but I believe in those cases it's either a matter of wanting to go to town on something easily accessible that takes zero effort, or is more a matter of nostalgia for some junk food or fast food. The problem is that Subway is flavorless, and doesn't overcompensate for anything. It's literally just a log of sustenance.

Subway is such utter shit, I can't believe how bad it has become. I always loved it as a teen 15 years ago because you'd get a big fat sandwich with actual meat and relatively fresh veggies. I eventually stopped getting it for years until a few months ago when I tried it on a whim. Not only have the sandwiches shrunk to comical extent, but every ingredient was shit. I got 2 six inches of the exact same kind I used to get back in the day (steak&cheese and teriyaki chicken)

>"steak" was a sludge/sauce (used to be actual pieces of meat)
>"chicken" was literal reformed chicken-sourced pink slime mixed with soy protein (used to be actual pieces of breast)
>onions tasted metallic due to being ancient

Can only speak for myself, but when I'm high I just wanna eat, i aint picky as long as it's good. How to do this without becoming fat as fuck? grapes. blueberries, raspberries, other such watery sweet fruits are the fucking GOAT. just sit and eat them while high off my balls for hours- don't feel vomity self-hate like getting high and eating junk food the morning after. Also wet stuff helps with dry mouth.
