My grandma was unable to follow any recipe, mostly baking. As an obese diabetic southern lady, she couldn't just make peanut butter cookies or fudge. Add marshmallows, add more granulated sugar, add jelly beans. The only recipe she was okay at was "five layer delight" which was just five layers of sugar and stick it in the fridge
