Why do you still desire junk/fast food? I haven’t ate out in 2 years and I feel better than I ever have in my life. Also my shits are clean and non painful, and my hemorrhoids are gone. I thought it was normal growing up to nearly pass out trying to shit.

Meh a cheap cheeseburger now and again is alright. I never feel great after eating it though. It's insane how some people eat fast food every day with all of the sugary drinks and shakes and stuff, and never think about how it affects their physical and mental integrity. I just cannot understand ruining your life for Burger King, it's not even that great, if you're going to sabotage your health at least get drunk doing it or something. Ffs fatasses are actually retarded for getting fat, there's no way simple lack of will is enough to explain it.

It’s insane. whole board is literally addicted to mcdonalds and high fructose corn syrup, I rarely see posts about actual cooking or real food. I bring this topic up because I notice people around my age (23) still eat like little kids, and they suffer horribly for it. Humans weren’t made to eat the bullshit they serve everywhere

Presumably whatever your mommy made for you? I mean, you said right in your post you're only 23, which is basically a child in zoomer years...The point is, if you think "eating out" means eating factory slop, you don't know anything about food or cooking, and aren't making or anything worth bragging about at home.

Anyways though fast food is fine in moderation.

"Mussels steamed in Okinawan lager with chorizo, shallots, garlic, and serrano chili. Finished with butter, lemon, and fresh cilantro. Served with Manchego pommes anna “frites” and chorizo chimichurri."

>I rarely see posts about actual cooking or real food
That is because YT has flooded the market with pretty much every cooking topic and recipe imaginable. You can find like 5 renditions of the same recipe by 5 different people, one of which is usually a chef. Want to make bento? There is a channel for that. Everything from advanced to poorfag sloppa is documented in long-form video, and now short form video for the ADD retards.

The only thing you can get here is absurd things people shouldn't do when cooking, posted for entertainment. That is why all threads are essentially arguments over pans, tea, or fast food, or some advert/data mining thing. Plus the occasional US vs EU shit thread.

They are 1/3 pound, 80/20 patties, seasoned with a 3-1-1 ratio of salt, black pepper, and garlic powder, and are cooked medium rare on a flat-top grill. The patty is topped with a lemon-rosemary ailoi, slivered green onions, and a slice of smoked mozzarella. The bun is brioche, and was bought through a distributor, and is brushed with a garlic infused blended oil before being toasted on the flat-top (they're always kind of squished because I would make the burgers when I was leaving work and stick them in a to-go box). After the patty was put on the bottom bun it would get arugula, tomatoes, pickles, and more of the aioli on the top bun.

There were a lot of variations, but that was the most common one. You're never going to eat one because we closed the restaurant last year.

Perhaps y'all can help me.

I've been eating a pretty damn healthy diet for the past month and my shits have gotten HUGE. I drink a lot of water, exorcize daily, eat below around the recommended daily fiber and yet I am dumping 16inch monstrosities that my small anus is struggling to open up for. I think you might have helped me out here anon, thank you. What is NAC though?

>> No.20291844

>>20291835
NAC is an amino acid your body uses to signal that tissue needs repairing
Most people don't eat enough liver and onions (not kidding, it's liver and onions) to produce adequate amounts of NAC
Biotin is in B multivitamins, IIRC it's B7
Your hair and nails will get thicker, too
Careful with alcohol when you start taking NAC, it causes your body to absorb and metabolize alcohol more quickly, so for the first month or so, it will fuck with you until you get used to it
Also NAC just kind of stops hangovers if you take enough of it
Be careful with that knowledge

Like this anon said.

Inspiration is a lie, discipline is where the real shit is. I have ADHD too, unmedicated. So it can be literal hell to get me to do anything sometimes. But I feel much better when I do the things.

It's taken ages to build myself up to this point. Slowly but surely getting there. Discipline builds a routine, routines build habits, habits can be for life.

Personally I use notebooks and excel spreadsheets to lay things out in front of me, so I can see the bigger picture. That helps a lot. Being to focused on the now, causes me to just yolo it.

Hope that helps.

I've stopped eating out because I'm a poorfag. But once in a blue moon, I get some fast food.(I'm talking about once in 6 months)
Every time, my shits have been completely normal. And the food tastes better than what I'm capable of making at home. Or if not "better", than just different enough to satisfy in a way that my own cooking can't.

I think fast food gets over-hated. Especially McDonalds. My last fast food experience was there, and it was incredibly satisfying. So I'm thinking, that perhaps it isn't so much the food that is bad, but the frequency of the food that's bad. If you were eat fast food enough times a week to get painful hemorrhoidal shits, then that means you were eating *a lot* of fast food. Anything you eat should pass out of your system within 24 hours. Sometimes it takes longer if you're a little backed up. And the lingering nutritional effects of the food should pass within a few days.

You could probably reduce fast food consumption to once a week, and still be just fine. 2 years is overboard.
