hi ck...
eggshells have calcium and other minerals, why not eat them too?
maybe puree to reduce the chunk size.
affect the taste? how it cooks?

Rocks have calcium and minerals in them too but you don't see people going around pulverizing and eating them.

It's calcium carbonate. Rather poor absorption into the body when not ground into very small pieces, because it's not very soluble.

cooking should kill samonella.
what would the texture be like? mix it with some shreded cheese, cream cheese, sausage bits, peppers.... would you even notice?
