What is /ck/'s guilty pleasure?

For me, it's just a fuckton of ground beef taco's with a heaping mass of cheddar, and maybe a little hot sauce. Hell, this last weekend I even downgraded back down to hardshells, and I while I wouldn't do it again, I really enjoyed it.

Drinking alone.

Also masturbating to chicks choking on dicks and vomiting with tears smearing their eye liner, preferably with a dead-inside facial expression. Although I have to say the Rebeca Linares Max Hardcore video is a classic, despite her not acting all dead inside for that one (she got that way later, after the breast implants).

Over the past two days the only thing I've eaten was a one dollar cheeseburger off the value menu at Burger King. However, I did drink two fifths of Bacardi rum. So I guess my guilty pleasure is alcohol.

Both of you clowns... Baked taco (how the hell have I never thought of that) and Skyline action. Awe man. I have to mail order cans of Skyline where I'm at. The spices completely destroy my gut, I choke on reflux all night, then when I wake up half the time I ralph up this spicy liquid, but I always come back for more.

That, and a nice buttery reuben (tears me up too, but I can keep it down). The trick is to toast your bread, butter the toast, then you grill it. Its crunchy as in "I can hear it crunching as you chew it from halfway across the room" crunchy. Beware if you haven't had anything coarse/crunchy in a while. It can be a bit abrasive on the roof of your yapper.

And oh ya, Whatchamacallits.

About those baked tacos... Do they get kind of chewy and lose their crispness after being baked? I'm imagining the limp nacho effect, which I don't like. Not at all opposed to the whole baking thing.

Pro tip: if you dunce out and find yourself ordering nacho belle grande (or especially XXL nachos), ask for your "nachos on the side". They will put them in a large container, no questions asked. The topings then become a dip. You can stir it into submission, or spoon off the cream and guac, reheat it (sprinkle a little water on the beans to rehydrate), then add the cold stuff back (plus some olive). Chips stay crisp and edible unlike the fuggin rebar in the concrete that is the refried bean epoxy they use.

> Do you have some crippling depression or something?

Can't speak for that guy but you're not far off. I make 79k/yr with another 20-22k of perks added in (2 trips to EU per year, cable/internet bill at home is comped, insurance premiums paid for, and a home office I would have given both my nuts for when I was in school)... Yet I can barely think beyond my compulsive drinking. I could probably retire happily when I'm 50-ish, but assuming my liver holds on that long I think it would be a bad idea. Going to work everyday and staying there as long as possible is the only chance I get to dry out. Retire = drink all day = death.

Protip: way back when I smoked pot almost everyday for 10yrs... Don't even think for a second that you can do the same thing with booze. Completely different animal. And it has weaponry, like enhancing your depression and making you distrust yourself.

I usually eat crap at the weekend, so its not really a guilty pleasure I occasionally indulge in, rather something I look forward to during the week

I cook up some crazy meal on thursday evening so I can just microwave that shit and start eating it as soon as I get home from work on friday

I normally go for something spicy with a lot of sauce, usually indian (chicken tikka/madras with basmati and naan), or mexican (chili beef or chicken wraps, with plenty cheese). if not those I'll just get a pizza

> rather something I look forward to during the week

I do the same. Isolating it to one night a week, or maybe one + one breakfast or lunch help me keep it from getting out of hand.

For me its always something cheese based like calzone/stromboli/lasagna. I avoid cheese and fatty condiments through the week and only allow them on the weekends. Immediate noticable improvement of my weight after starting that.

> 7-11 chili cheese dogs

Their food good eh? The only one around me that has food... It smells like a sewer in there for some reason. I actually started gagging on it one time. I think they have a grease trap that they don't understand needs emptied occasionally.

I come from the land of Wawa, so trust me, its no loss. Which brings me to my guilty pleasure. About every other week I stop in Wawa and load up on some breakfast action. One of my favs is italian with scrambled eggs on cibatta with tomato, mayo, onion, salt, pepper, oregano. I take it to work and bust out the Poupon, Guldens and/or Boar's Head horseraddish and use it as a dipping sauce. I keep a jar of pickle spears and sweet peppers at work, and sometime they find themselves in the jackpot.

If I'm running late and there's no time I grab a couple croissant egg sammiches by the counter. If I have eat it cold I'll put some mayo on it, otherwise those things are perfect straight up.

If you're ever passing through central-east seaboard area make sure you stop in one of these. I think its a mind-blowing business model and have no fucking idea why they aren't everywhere. People are always lined up at the pump, staff of at least 8 bustin their ass 24/7... And I'm sure its not because our cars tell us their gas tastes better.

I bake a potato, cut it into thin slices lengthwise, melt butter and cheese over the slices, then toss the potato slices on some bread.

The shame you feel after eating one is like it must feel to eat an entire carton of ice cream though.
