I made a Martini for the first time. I didn't make it very well, but it isn't that bad. I could see myself drinking these on a semi regular basis.

On that note, when I was buying booze tonight. I couldn't decide between Bourbon or gin. Then I was like I've never had a Martini. Let us create one... so I did. :p

If you really want to get tossed... Buy Jim Beam Honey Bourbon. It is devine

when I was almost finished I returned to order another case but it seemed my order had prompted them to stock the big boys

now I just buy 2 at a time

I like Hemingway's version more than the classic recipe. Gordon's from the freezer with Noilly Prat 15 to 1 shaken to shit and strained into a chilled cocktail glass. A bit barbaric but it really hits the spot.

moonshine is a generic term for any liquor that's distilled and not aged, basically.
if they use grain of some kind its whiskey and if they use fruit its brandy

someone correct me if i'm wrong

it compares to whiskey like jack daniels but it doesn't age in a barrel for 7 or more years

I tell people it tastes like un aged whiskey

White whiskey and corn shine taste like bourbon, minus any smoky, vanilla, and woody notes from the barrel.

>> No.4531540

>>4531526
That's the problem, I have no idea what unaged whiskey tastes like. I've had plenty of European shine though, but that's all eau de vie (unaged fruit brandy). The only grain liquors that weren't aged I've drunk were gin, jenever and vodka.

aren't white whiskey and corn shine the same thing?

>>4531540
it doesn't have a very strong flavor and when made well it's extremely smooth

if you could imagine what whiskey tastes like without the charred wood flavor you would know moonshine

>> No.4531584

>>4531550
In order for it to be called whiskey, it has to spend time in a barrel. So with white whiskey, they often put in a barrel for 24 hours and remove it.

Whiskey doesn't necessarily have to have corn.

Guns don't get drunk. Nor does any modern firearm suddenly discharge. Anyone who knows the basics of gun safety and how the machine physically operates is safe around one, even while intoxicated, unless he's doing kegstands at a shemale rodeo.

the firearm is a wonderful little engineering marvel, much like the automobile in your garage. and, similarly, it takes a bit of maturity to properly handle both of them. whatever has happened in your life, assuming that others having alcohol around will inevitably lead to loss of control and drunken decisions is simply wrong.
