How do you make the best salsa in the world? I want to win a contest.

>> No.4552924

Which contest? Maybe I'll enter and win.

Salsa sucks, it's too damn watery. Make Pico de Gallo instead

>> No.4552975

>>4552942
pico de gallo is salsa

>> No.4552985

grill the tomatoes.

Don't underestimate the power of cilantro.

No it isn't. Salsa is very finely chopped with a watery consistency and Pico de Gallo is just a rough chop of everything and not watery at all.

That is just wrong. You have no idea what you're talking about. At least use wiki every now and then before being completely stupid and argumentative.

Yup, mangos make any salsa better. I just finished off the last of the mango salsa I made and canned back in 2011. Now I miss it, and I forgot how I made it :(

>>4553261
Agreed. Once you experience something, you never really forget it. You'll remember it someday.

No it isn't...

I have the recipe but I'm not going to give it to you, because otherwise how can I win all the contests? Muahahaha.

Just repeating yourself doesn't make what you're saying any more true.

Why don't you actually go look it up as was suggested so you don't come across as such an ingoranus. Your idea of salsa ≠ salsa.

>> No.4554903

>>4553261
damn near any salsa you try will have mangos in it these days.

I have a friend who makes apple salsa though, that's a bit interesting.

Nah, he got it right. You don't, apparently.

avacado, tomatios, jalapenos, seranos, onion, salt, and lemon... i think. idk. i just throw shit in a blender and it usually takes pretty good

>> No.4557266

Wrong again.

FFS, it's very basic: go look up what salsa actually is in, oh I don't know, let's say Mexico just to begin with. Then you'll have a better idea what's what.

Hint: there are thousands of kinds of salsa.
