dear /ck/,

i hate chicago. job is the only reason other than CHICAGO TOMATO PIE and other assorted, delicious, unhealthy native dishes are the only things that has kept me here for 4 years. i'm very seriously factoring the food into where i go when i move away from this land of broken souls.

i like all food ever equally. where do i move to?

Any major city on the coast will have good food and variety. That said, Chicago food is best food and it all goes downhill from there. Even excluding pizza/dawgs, the ethnic food isn't as good as in Chicago either. I have never had Mediterranean or oriental as good as Chicago anywhere else bar the actual country of origin.

Portland is pretty nice though. You better like brunch.

As a Texan, I thank you for spreading this message. Nothing to see here, move along, yes Californian, you too, git.

>> No.4585156

Yea, don't go to Texas ever. Especially if you're from California, Illinois or New York. They'll shoot at you for having the wrong license plates over there. Lived there for two years, thank God I left for Oregon. The whole state is a desert full of gun toting Mexicans, the only thing to eat is beans and Whataburger, which is awful. Anyone that says its good is an obvious troll. The water gives you diarhea and you'll die in a hurricane if you stay.

Just don't do it. Tex-Mex is a myth, its just tortillas and velveeta. Everyone that knows how to bbq moved to Kansas. Its actually down there.

Ah, Texas breaks another one.

Come down to Austin, OP. We will put any and all edible things into tacos. I had a banh mi taco last week. I had a flight of delicious cabs this week. I've had fajitas and carne asadas that make me question my ethnicity. I've had curries, pho, gyros, tortas, ethiopian coffee, cheese stuffed pork tenderloin... the road goes on forever.

Or don't, house prices are skyrocketing right now.

This guy is just puppeteering. "don't eat no raw meat" is pretty much how a white dude pretending to be black talks. Why he thinks that somehow imitates Texan "dialect", if such a thing actually existed, is beyond me.

Anyways now I'm just feeding the trolls. Austin doesn't really need any more hype right now, but it is a beautiful city. Plus, we have something like gigabit uplinks from Google coming next year.
