What? I live in italy, there's no such thing here as a dressing you put on steak (maybe a few drops of olive oil). What is it?

I think cook mine medium-well
I too like mine with a nice tomato sauce

"Italian dressing" is a kind of salad dressing that's common in the USA and Canada. It's more like something inspired by Americanized Italian food than something actually known in Italy, the same way Taco Bell is full of stuff nobody eats in Mexico (except when they go to Taco Bell, which has opened restaurants in Mexico, which is hilarious).

It's kind of a creamy golden dressing made with canola or soy oil, vinegar, herbs, and mysterious chemicals.

I cook my meat well done and then find the hottest sauce around that I can smother the steak in for that extra flavorful kick.

Worcestershire sauce. Or a mix of A1 and HP. I never slather sauce on my steak. I just put it to the side and dip.

A lot of different ways. Sometimes with nothing but salt and pepper. Sometimes with various spice rubs, sometimes with A1, sometimes with sauteed onions and mushrooms, sometimes au poivre, sometimes with bleu cheese crust. Generally order medium, but I'll eat anything between medium rare and medium well.

I take a filet mignon, grind it up with some pork fat, shape it into patties then grill it up and put it between a good roll with grilled onions, liquid smoke and worchestershire sauce.

I like a very thick New York strip or a regular cut Tbone. Medium to medium rare, but I'll eat rare sometimes if I'm sick or in the mood.

Only seasoning I use is salt and garlic powder.

Sriracha isn't hipster if you're Asian. Although I certainly wouldn't put it on my steaks.

You're probably thinking about White Russians. Russia expanded from Europe, just so you know. And there are plenty of Asiatics in Russia, such as Mongolians or Siberians. Aside from that, sriracha comes from Thailand. The sriracha everyone is accustomed to is made by a Chinese-Vietnamese guy.

People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. In this situation, you're the hipster because your denouncing sriracha because it's trendy or in.

If you evaluate it on it's culinary value and not your dumb insecurities, you will find it's a pretty good condiment. I wouldn't put it on steak, though..

When I say Asian, I mean biologically. Or do you mean to say Vladimir Putin is exactly like Shinzo Abe? White Russians come from Eastern Europe and are therefore European. You're the idiot. Go read a book before you start talking about something you have no knowledge about.

>>4796598
It's neither trendy or in, especially when a group of people have been using it since its inception on one of the most popular foods in the world. I don't know what insecurities you're talking about so please stop projecting.

God damn go get yourselves educated.

Just because it's been around forever doesn't mean that it isn't trendy right now in the western world.

Also, why they hell would it be more okay for a asiatic russian to have sriracha than a white person? Neither race has any historical connection to the use of sriracha. That's like saying only I'm allowed to eat pizza because I'm latvian and that's geographically closer to italy than where you're from.
