Let's talk hot wings.

Hot.
Drumsticks
BC (but neither are great with hot food)
Celery
Milk
Yes

>> No.4882329

Mild or medium, I still want to taste things other than vinegar and heat.

I prefer flats to drums, but like a mixture.

Ranch or blue is fine, celery is a must for variety in taste, texture, and temperature.

Wings, like most fried food, go best with beer.

Breaded wings aren't as good, but I wouldn't turn them down.

Also, I think I most favor Spicy BBQ wings over straight up hot-sauce wings.

Mild or medium. I'll shit flames later, so I'd rather it be less painful
>Flats or drummies?
I'll take more flats over drummies.
>Ranch or blue cheese?
Ranch
>Celery or no?
If it's not there, I won't cry
>What do you drink with your wings?
Ice cold Coke while eating, but beer pre and post eating.
>Is it ever acceptable to bread your hot wings?
Meh. I don't really care.

Something alcoholic, but I'm good with water or tea
>Is it ever acceptable to bread your hot wings?
I didn't even know that was a thing. The best way is sauce and then cooked a little more to 'crust' the sauce and then sauce it again. Best shit.

Hot
Mostly drumettes
Blue cheese, but only for the celery
Beer
No breading.

both
blue cheese with lots of fresh chucks
celery and maybe some carrots
water and soda
hooters and mcds does a good breaded wing but I only get them on occasion

Hooters.

The restaurant Hooters is well-known for their wings. Their wings are especially notable because, unlike most places with hot wings, they bread their wings.

They sorta popularized it.

>> No.4882413

>Mild, medium, or hot?
If I have to pick between the 3, Mild. Prefer Jerk wings
>Flats or drummies?
Drummettes, do people really call them drummies?
>Ranch or blue cheese?
75-25 BC over ranch
>Celery or no?
Eh.. don't really care
>What do you drink with your wings?
Usually water, but I wouldn't turn down a cold beer
>Is it ever acceptable to bread your hot wings?
I wouldn't do it. Personally, I like to bake my wings.

>> No.4882427

Hot
You gotta have both, but I guess I prefer drums
Blue cheese
Celery if there's dipping sauce, none if there isn't
Soda/beer if there's dipping sauce, milk if there isn't
It's fine with or without breading. I can't say I prefer one way over the other.

>> No.4882430

Medium, flats with ranch. Dont' like celery but I'll take some carrot sticks.

Usually drink water.

Let's talk hot wings.

>Mild, medium, or hot?
Half cup franks, half cup crystal hot sauce, dice shallot in olive oil and sautéed then braised in a few sips of dales pale ale, throw in a few cloves garlic with the hot sauce. Finish with some kerrygold herbed butter and a tablespoon of honey to emulsify. Cayenne to taste for your own spice level.

>Flats or drummies?
I like the drummies and flats to be connected for superior value.

>Ranch or blue cheese?
Throw some goat cheese in the ranch, fucking amazing.

>Celery or no?
Sure why not.
>What do you drink with your wings?
More dales pale ale
>Is it ever acceptable to bread your hot wings?
I always smoke mine on a weber for about two hours or so with apple wood and braise mine in a large cast iron and baste with pickle juice periodically before finishing them on the grill top for superior crispness.

Is this method highly involved? Absolutely. Are they god tier? Zeus would literally jizz bolts of lightening over them.

Both

Ranch

Yes, and carrots!

Cherry coke if I go to this one wing place for lunch with coworkers. Beer in most other cases.

I wouldn't call it unacceptable, but I'm not a big fan.

Hot. Very hot, but no atomic or other gimmicky bullshit. I want to taste my sauce.

Flats for sure. Easier to eat, just the right amount of cartilage.

Blue cheese for sure.

It's always there but I don't normally find myself eating it.

If there's no beer, you're not eating wings.

Why not? Not my preference though.

Flats. Medium. I HATE when they are overcooked, and dry.
Celery is yummy, but never figured out "why?" other than to spread sauce from community dipping sauce.
I'm from Buffalo, and have had wings at the Anchor bar before; not the best wings I've had.
In Buffalo, wings are usually served with both celery and carrot sticks.

Medium. Hot at most of those wing joints is a bragging rights thing so they essentially just squirt a couple of nice doses of pepper spray into the medium sauce and call it "hot". Medium has a good balance of heat and flavor as a general rule.

A mix of both, but more drummies than flats because flats are mostly skin. The meat that IS on flats has good flavor though due to more fat and more bone.

Blue cheese, how is that even a question

Yeah, helps me feel a little better about myself lol

Water and water alone

Eh, breading em would kind of defeat the succulence, which is the whole draw

Mild or medium, i don't like incredibly spicy stuff, but i do like a kick.

Flats or Drummies, i can do either way. I like a mixture

Ranch, or GOOD blue cheese.

Celery sure, ever dip it in the buffalo sauce? Divine, and it's a good pallet cleanser.

I dislike alcohol so typically water or root beer.

>> No.4885322

>Mild, medium, or hot?
>Flats or drummies?

Flats are superior. If you separate the two bones before eating, you can easily slide the meat off of both and eat wings at lightning speeds. Drums are good, and you always need a mix of both flats and drums, but flats are superior.

>Ranch or blue cheese?

You're a pussy if you CHOOSE ranch over blue cheese. Sometimes one or the other isn't an option. Most of the time, I'm eating wings with my friends who are plebs that prefer ranch, so we end up getting ranch with the wings. Ranch isn't bad, it's just for pussies.

>Celery or no?

Celery is only required if you're actually eating HOT wings.

>What do you drink with your wings?

Beer, any beer.

>Is it ever acceptable to bread your hot wings?

Yes but few places can do this well. Fried is superior.

Man, I was just at Acme in Annapolis today for the first time. Best wings I've ever had. Apparently they got voted best wings in Annapolis. Anyone been there by chance?

They have this sauce called Memphis Gold and I don't know what the fuck it is but it's the best wing sauce I've ever had. Someone please tell me you've heard of this and know what's in it

Cola.
>Is it ever acceptable to bread your hot wings?
Ideally wings should be fried crisp without breading. However, breading can be nice. As long AS THEY ARE NOT FUCKING BONELESS>
