Did any of yal have these things called western burgers or taco burgers at school? It was my favorite school meal. Pic related, it looked like a medium sized roll of bread and the middle was filled with spiced seasoned taco meat. It was optionally topped with either chili con queso or chili con carne and eaten with a fork.

They had this thing called a "meatball sub" but it was like they took all these delicious ingredients like cheese, tomato sauce, and meatballs. Then wrapped it up in pizza dough and baked it.
It was goddamn delicious, but I can't find anything similar to it.

I feel so sad, hungry, and frustrated everytime I think back to it.

Also, once in 5th grade, I just got my chalupa and I was super excited to eat it. Then as I was about to take a bite, a pigeon flew over and shat on it. I was really hungry that day too.

That chalupa was barely a chalupa, it was like a strange rectangular taco shell bathtub with a centimeter of cheese and ground meat. It was pretty delicious though, especially with some hot sauce. I was so looking forward to eating it.

Last I checked you could get those shitty rectangular pizzas at Schwan's and maybe Gordons Food Service. You have to buy a case at a time, but they freeze well.

If you have interest in such things, don't put it off forever, they are reducing sodium and pulling other asskiss moves to keep up with competition, so they won't be around forever in their original form.

A calzone is basically a folded pizza. Bread dough in a half-moon shape with cheese and tomato in it.

A pasty is different. It's pastry in a half-moon shape containing minced meat 'n veg. So, the texture's different, the taste is different, the nutritional value is different and the only thing they share is a vague shape.
