How long do you spend grocery shopping for just yourself?

How much do you roughly spend each visit on average?

You sound like my mom in the past. What kind of stuff do you save money on?

>> No.5308725

Some days I'm like a supermarket ninja and able to get through, fill my trolley with all needed items and find an empty checkout all within 20 - 30 minutes.

Sometimes though, mostly on Sundays I take forever, I'm the kind of asshole that stands in the middle of the aisle with my shopping trolley sideways staring at a box of cereal. I'm usually drunk on these days and find it funny to grab items right near peoples heads, after all this I try to find a pretty checkout girl so I can charm her with my wit.

Good questions, mong.

20-30 minutes. I like to look around for good deals and interesting things in tins.

$25-30 for a week's groceries for myself. I'll usually spend $5-10 over a couple of quick visits for other things.
Being cheap is cool.

About 30 mong dollars,

oh yeah I normal spend 20-40 mins per visit but even at 40 mins I feel like I've been in there too long to make the shop persons antsy.

I shop for myself when it comes to simple breakfast and lunch fixings. Long lasting things like eggs, bread, raisins, frozen OJ, apples, steel cut oats. I dont buy milk anymore unless its for cooking. About 20$ can last me 10 days or so.

Lunch is simple, tuna apples tomatoes. A weeks lunch is usually 12-13$ all depending (fucking Kanzi apples)

When I am cooking for others (shared living situation. Myself, 2 others and one of their friends who drops by far too much), I'm a bit of a beast and I tend to spend heavily but that's because I can cook better than everyone in the house. A typical dinner will cost , on average, 15$ to feed 3 people if I'm not making magic with leftovers. I typically buy only fresh produce, maybe some seasonings for the spice cabinet.

IF I had complete control over the kitchen space and fridge , I'd easily be dropping 100$ weekly on groceries for everyone.

One shopping trip a month to get mostly organic bulks and frozen produce for two people is usually less than $115 and takes 45 minutes. When I would coupon it'd be closer to $60 but it was shit food.

>> No.5309559

Usually try to spend less than 15 minutes in the grocery store. Can usually be in and out within 5 minutes.

Usually with about $10 I can eat for a week. Every 4-6 weeks I'll go buy a big bag of delicious basmati rice at the local Indian grocery store for like $15.

I spend substantially more money and time on beer, whisky and whiskey.

I never make a list when I go in, which is probably a stupid idea. I always wander around aimlessly forever and end up picking out things and then putting them back later. It's such a waste of time, but I do enjoy browsing food.
