Like with the vegan situation, this sort of behavior is usually limited to college aged people, and the mentally unstable, but it gets unfairly tagged to all of them. Sure, that's fine. I smoke a few times a year, some of my coworkers smoke a few times a month, one of them I suspect smokes every day. And the guy who smokes daily gets judged for it, in part because he is not hesitant to mention it, and he is prone to ludicrous claims like "inhaling clouds of burning smoke is only bad for you when you eat chips". He is a good guy, and he does good work, but any and every little mistake he ever makes is immediately blamed on the marijuana.

There is a stigma to being a pothead. That doesn't mean that touching weed once makes you a social outcast. Just keep a lid on it if you're using it that frequently, it's not going to help you in any way.

I've smoke with lawyers, employees of the mayors office, IT specialists, project managers, and scientists. All of varying ages and races.
