I'm sure many people not just here on /ck/ but on the whole internet may think that this thing we call bacon is nothing but a meme food, yet I think it is more than that, it's actually pretty delicious and useful as an ingredient with other things like pasta, soup, maybe a burger or even pizza, I really like it.

Is one of few gastronomic joys I can have right now since I can't consume gluten, milk and dairy products anymore.

Good in small amounts. Does not belong everywhere. I mostly hate how bacon is still one of those "trendy foods" (although it's dying down) and is forced into places it doesn't belong for the sake of having bacon. I like bacon by itself, or on a burger, or even sometimes in chocolate. This doesn't mean I want bacon vodka, bacon mayo, bacon wrapped steaks (although that was a thing long before the bacon fad), bacon mints, etc. Bacon shines brightest when it's not overused or poorly used.
