I made mac and cheese with spinach, chop meat and onions. Thrown in the oven with some of that butter-breadcrumbs bullshit and topped off with shredded cheddar.

i mean i live in NYC so momofuku is kind of an institution. If you make them yourself with any level of competence they'll be better than the bakery's.

Tossi (the milk bar head chef) likes using flavors from your childhood (assuming you're american) to make sweets that balance sweet and salty. I liked the compost cookies I made slightly more (see pic) but the cornflake crunch makes an unbelievable ice cream topping.

I'm making beef wellington for my husband and I with mashed potatoes.

Got some usda prime tenderloin. Made duxelles with crimini, shiitake, portobello and oyster mushrooms with shallots thyme and bourbon. Also wrapped in prosciutto and fois gras.

It's currently sitting in the fridge to bake in about an hour. I hope it comes out well!

Made chicken enchiladas for my Girlfriend, I had chicken stripes instead of the typical beef mince.
Made some sweet mint creme dip to top it off.
desert were strawberries with chocolate and creme fraiche.

I ordered pizza hut takeout, sprinkled with Parmesan and red pepper flakes. I was going to add some tears but I'm far past the point of giving a fuck enough to cry, so that didn't pan out. Pizza is surprisingly decent tho, as is my vodka iced tea.

I made my gf chicken wonton tacos for dinner and just some generic chocolate covered strawberries (white and semisweet) for dessert. Wish I took a picture of the tacos because they turned out surprisingly good for me totally winging it.
