AFAIK, there's one left in my city, and another in a neighboring city. The quality has went down hill.

At their peak, it was the best burger chain bar none. God-tier everything: fries, burgers, spicy chicken sandwich, chili dogs...HNGGGHH.

My personal favorite fast food joint, the fries are so delicious and greasy, and their spicy chicken sandwich is actually reasonably spicy.

My usual order is a medium fry, spicy chicken, and double cheeseburger....but their Big Buford and Baconzilla sandwiches are pretty goat. Their fish sandwiches are also okay.

I've considered flying to Indianapolis (the nearest city I'm sure of the location of a Rally's that I've been to, and I fly for free), just to have a Baconzilla with an extra side large fry with a large root-beer.

Sounds like a real food coma, that I know Checkers/Rallys is capable of...I've never had their nuggets ever, how are they? I imagine their chili dogs are pretty standard, I've never had them either although as a kid the chili cheeseburger was my favorite, used to get two of them and a banana milk shake, which I don't think they sell anymore.

Also, does anybody remember the old school Rallys logo? I get so much nostalgia just looking at this image. Every Rallys near me (MI fag) stopped using this loooong ago, and even since then pretty much every single location was changed to Checkers instead.

Banana shakes from rallys were always a treat for me as a kid. More recently there is a checkers right down the street from my apartment and the one time I went there it was clear that they cooked the fries in the same oil as the seafood because they tasted like shellfish. No doubt thanks to the place being totally staffed by sub saharans. Burger was still good tho

I have Del Taco where I live even now, it's the same shit as Taco Bell only cheaper and without crazy specialty items. So, I like it...but it's just typical fast food shit.

I know all about Del Taco man, it's literally the same quality as Taco Bell, but both sine in different areas.

Del Taco, as you pointed out, has much more variety in what you can order, and the basic items are actually cheaper....personally I like their chicken tacos.

However, Taco Bell is basically the same shit in different shapes but they do have some very nice gimmicks, like the Crunchwrap, Cheesey Gordita Crunch, and some of their special sauces simply can't be beat like the pepperjack sauce on the Gordita Crunch or what they put on quesadillas
