Water is nasty and soda is awful for you. Sweet tea is the only logical choice.

Post favorite brands and methods of preparation.

Southernfag reporting in for duty.

Today I measured out 150g of white sugar, six family-sized teabags of Luzianne, and a gallon of water/ice. Boil the sugar with enough water to completely dissolve it. Then pour that over some ice in a pitcher. Add the tea bags to 2 quarts of cold water, and heat it on medium-low heat until the water turns a dark amber color. Turn off the heat and let it sit for 30 minutes. Pour it into the pitcher and then cover with cold water. Add a pinch of baking soda and stir.

Virtually zero tea sediment and undissolved sugar.

The problem with Arizona is that is sucks. The best mass produced one that I've found is Nantucket Nectars. I think they were bought out by Snapple or someone, but from what I've seen the ingredients have stayed the same.

the green and citrus tea is very nice. My biggest problem with ready-made teas is finding one that hits a nice middle ground of sweetness.

lipton is terrible, I've tried a lot of their ready-made teas and they're all syrupy. But the weeb import ready-made teas from japan have zero sweetening and are too bitter.

I'm neutral on arizona, I can only get the green and peach bottles in import.
