I've posted this in a Reviewbrah thread before, but might as well post it again.

Older anons might remember a site called Portal of Evil. It was kinda like a very early proto-ED in that it cataloged and displayed interesting websites and lolcows. It's long gone now, but they had a video aggregate site that's still around and active called Portal of Evil TV. Youtube videos are posted and embedded in threads where the users rate and comment on them.

Anyway, way back when this dude started, someone from poetv found and posted one of his videos on the site. They all thought it was kinda funny, and they said so. At the time, the site was fairly active and having one of his videos on there skyrocketed his view count.

Then, he showed up. In a flagrant act of self-promotion, he started posting his own videos (which is kind of a no-no) and would insult people who mentioned anything that wasn't glowing praise. A lot of his videos got modded (which is ultra-rare there), but some still exist with intact comments. This was all super-weird because "exhibits" (what they call lolcows) don't really ever interact on the site.

Moral: It would not surprise me at all if he was the one starting, or was at least participating in, these threads.

I first thought he was trolling, but once I saw how sincere his dad was in one of his videos and how I noticed many pill bottles on his kitchen counter in one of his "blooper/extra footage" videos.

I wish he would enable comments already... He says he will think about, enable it fora video for a few hours or so, and then disable them.

I blame the small town in NY he lives in and his homeschooling because his social skills are seemingly terrible.

He is very consistent, though. He doesn't care for a larger audience but I am not sure if that's because his social interaction is too limited (poor guy had no clue how to eat chili fries)
